Welcome WWIII
The current military confrontation between Ukraine and Russia is an unfortunate internecine fight between brother nations sparked by western outsiders and their fifth columnists in Kiev. There are no winners among any of the world’s peoples, only a handful of corrupt elites in America especially will benefit. The bad from this situation is becoming more apparent by the day. We now face the all too real possibility of this regional conflict eventually drawing in Poland and then America using its NATO military apparatus. This could set in motion a domino effect of Israel attacking Iran, and Taiwan declaring formally its independence. All this could leave us facing WWIII and a nuclear winter. With all this can any good be seen? Should we in fact welcome a third world war as a long term good? This essay will assert we should welcome WWIII if indeed it comes to that as its long term consequences may be beneficial to the entire world.
Paul Craig Roberts has correctly pointed out Russia’s soft touch military operation leaves too much room for continued western interference in Ukraine aimed at destabilizing and eventually destroying Russia as an independent country. Putin has not brought Russia any where near its full potential but he has strengthened it enough to show the world true independence is possible if you are willing to pay the price. Only time will tell if Russia’s focused effort in Ukraine was correct, though now it looks like a quick and total war would have saved more lives than a slow and limited one. This conflict cannot be lost by Russia as it very existence is at stake. The problem is it also cannot be lost by America, Ukraine and the European satellites are only its proxies, as its dominance of the world using its progressive ideology as cover is at stake. Both sides are free to define victory as they wish, their respective populations will have to accept what is offered, with this they can find something good enough for both and simply continue on with the new cold war. If a wider war does break out and nuclear weapons are used to gain a quick victory by either side the results for the people immediately affected would of course be catastrophic. Beyond this a new world of independent and peaceful states can arise.
The confrontation in Ukraine is ultimately between American world progressivism and Russian multipolarity, the Russians are on the right side of history here and must and deserve to win as they define it. If America cannot accept this a world war and nuclear exchange are just about inevitable. America would remain standing and immediately set about reorganizing and even expanding its current empire. However, if for instance Germany and Japan are largely destroyed, two key vassals whose productivity greatly helps America today, things will of necessity be different. Its plans would finally meet some real resistance from populations forced to see that blindly following America’s lead has terrible consequences. The American progressivist project for the world would not collapse but a window of opportunity for a world of truly independent states would open. This would be a great good for everyone on Earth. Let’s avoid a new world war if at all possible, that said, let’s also welcome the opportunities arising from it if we must suffer through it.
